Can dogs eat dog food (for cats)?
Dogs can obviously eat dog food — but not cat food long-term.
Why
Cat food is higher in protein and fat and is not balanced for dogs. A stolen mouthful is fine; a habit causes weight gain and pancreatitis.
How to serve it
Feed dogs dog food; keep the cat's bowl somewhere the dog can't reach.
If they eat too much
Diarrhoea, weight gain, pancreatitis from regular cat food.
