Why we started
Most custom pet portraits work backwards: you pay first, wait days, and hope it looks like your dog or cat. We thought that was the wrong way round. So we built a studio where you see a free preview in minutes and only pay once you love it.
We're a small team of pet people and technologists. The studio is AI-assisted — that's how we keep it fast and affordable — but every portrait passes a likeness review before it reaches you, because owners know their pet to the millimeter, and so should we.
The business behind the studio
MaginePaw is a brand of FRAME TOWER INC, a New York corporation registered in 2020 (NY Department of State ID 5786663) at 710 Manor Ct, 2nd Fl, Brooklyn, NY 11235. It is an online-only studio selling to customers across the United States — there is no shop to visit; everything happens on this site and by email.
How an order works: you upload one photo and pick a style, we paint six versions of your pet, and you choose the one that is really them. Digital orders are delivered as files on this site, usually within hours. Prints are produced by our print partner in the United States and shipped to you, typically 5–10 business days from approval.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Every price on this site is in US dollars and includes nothing hidden; US shipping is free on every order, with nothing added at checkout.
Policies, in full on our Returns page: free repaints until the portrait looks like your pet; a full refund on any order that has not gone to print yet, including every digital order; and a free replacement if a print arrives damaged or defective within 14 days. Because each portrait is made for one specific pet, we cannot take change-of-mind returns on a print that has already been produced and shipped — that limit is stated before you pay, not after.
Reaching a human: write to [email protected] and you will get a reply within one business day. That inbox is monitored every day, including the answer to “where is my order” — send the order link and we will tell you exactly what stage it is at.
What we believe
A portrait should look unmistakably like your pet — the crooked ear, the freckled nose, the one white sock. If it doesn't, we repaint it, free.
And loving pets should mean helping them: we pledge a share of profits to animal shelters and rescues, published openly as we grow.
