Can dogs eat strawberries?
Yes, in moderation — remove the leaves.

Why
Strawberries are full of fibre and vitamin C and contain an enzyme that can help whiten teeth. They are sweeter than blueberries, so a couple at a time is enough.
How to serve it
Rinse well (pesticide residue), remove the green top, slice for small dogs.
If they eat too much
Loose stools from too many; rare mild allergic itching.
How much strawberries for my dog?
A daily maximum for a healthy adult dog, kept inside the 10% treat rule. Enter body weight.
Up to 23 g a day — roughly 2 tablespoons (a small handful) · topped, sliced.
Treats of all kinds should stay under about 10% of daily calories. Puppies, kittens, seniors and pets with a medical condition: ask your vet first.
