Can dogs eat duck?
Cooked duck meat, skin removed — it's fatty.

Why
Duck is a good novel protein for dogs with allergies, but the skin and fat are very rich. Plain cooked breast meat is fine.
How to serve it
Cook plain, remove skin and all fat, cut small, no bones.
If they eat too much
Pancreatitis and diarrhoea from fatty duck.
How much duck for my dog?
A daily maximum for a healthy adult dog, kept inside the 10% treat rule. Enter body weight.
Up to 38 g a day — roughly 3 tablespoons (a small handful) · skinless, lean, cooked.
Treats of all kinds should stay under about 10% of daily calories. Puppies, kittens, seniors and pets with a medical condition: ask your vet first.
