Can dogs eat tofu?
Plain tofu in small amounts.

Why
Tofu is non-toxic and a source of plant protein, though dogs don't need soy and some are sensitive to it. Avoid seasoned or fried tofu. Dogs prone to bloat should skip it.
How to serve it
A small cube of plain tofu.

Gas, bloating; allergic itching in soy-sensitive dogs.
How much tofu for my dog?
A daily maximum for a healthy adult dog, kept inside the 10% treat rule. Enter body weight.
Up to 15 g a day — about 1 tablespoon · plain, small cube.
Treats of all kinds should stay under about 10% of daily calories. Puppies, kittens, seniors and pets with a medical condition: ask your vet first.
