Can dogs eat jam & jelly?
Skip — mostly sugar, and grape jelly is toxic.
Why
Jam is sugar and fruit; grape jelly carries the grape kidney-toxicity risk, and sugar-free jams may contain xylitol. Plain strawberry jam is harmless in a lick but pointless.

Skip.
Symptoms to watch for
Stomach upset; grape or xylitol poisoning depending on the jar.
If your dog has eaten jam & jelly, don't wait for symptoms.
Call your vet, or in the US the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (888-426-4435) or Pet Poison Helpline (855-764-7661), 24 hours a day. Have the amount, the time and any packaging ready.
